Hallman's Deter 200 (model 2705) is a lightweight, portable electric fence charger that can power up to 2 miles of fence wire. The Deter 200 provides more than 4 weeks of continuous use (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) on 4 D-cell alkaline batteries
The Deter 200 was designed for primarily for portable corrals, making them easier to erect and eliminating rope burn on horses while camping on trail rides. The Deter 200 is also ideal for a variety of other permanent and temporary uses, including:
- Temporary strip grazing
- Crop protection
- Protecting vegetable gardens from dogs and other 'pests'
- Protecting hay storage or farm yards
- Protecting supplies from foraging nocturnal animals on camping or hiking trips
