Solar power for your electric fence
Hallman's Solar 6 (model 6985) is an economical solar-powered fence charger that delivers excellent performance at a reasonable cost. The Solar 6 features a direct current (DC) pulse, low-impedence design that can power up 10 miles of fence wire.
During the day, the Solar 6's solar panel (and the sun) powers the fence and recharges the internal six volt gel cell battery (included). During the night, the battery powers the fence. The Solar 6 can power a fence in complete darkness for up to seven days
The Solar 6 is ideal for small and medium fences, including livestock confinement at hobby farms and temporary pastures. The Solar 6 is especially useful for sites where charging a battery is inconvenient.
Optional accessories for the Solar 6 include battery chargers, and additional gel cell batteries.
