Web store terms and conditions
Your satisfaction with Hallman products and services is our first goal. Hallman offers the following terms and conditions in plain English, using as little legal jargon as possible.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Hallman Web store account information, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Hallman reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
Secure ordering and payment
Hallman accepts orders and ships to addresses in Canada and the United States only.
Hallman offers you the opportunity to make secure internet payment through PayPal, the leading on-line payment service provider, or with our phone back service where we will be pleased to process your order confidentially using VISA® or MasterCard®.
Hallman products are priced in Canadian dollars. US customers please note that the currency exchange rates fluctuate, with the US dollar historically being worth more than the Canadian dollar. To check the current exchange rates, please contact your bank or credit card company. Canadian dollars will be converted into US dollar values for US customer invoicing by PayPal, VISA, or MasterCard.
Because Hallman products are manufactured in Canada, there are no import duties when importing them into the United States.
Registration, order, and shipping confirmations
When you register with Hallman.ca, you will receive a registration e-mail with the details of your account.
When you place an online order, you will receive an e-mail with the details of your order.
Hallman attempts to respond to and ship all orders within one business day. When Hallman ships your order, you will receive an e-mail with the shipping and tracking information.
Hallman attempts to retain sufficient stock of all products listed on the web site. If there is not sufficient stock, Hallman will contact you to make arrangements for a backorder.
Product returns
Hallman tests every product before it leaves the factory to make sure it works as intended. Should your product arrive damaged, or if you have a warranty claim under the terms noted in Hallman's warranty statement, contact us by phone or e-mail to arrange return or delivery to a repair location.
Product usage
Hallman offers extensive information about product selection and use in the Electric Fence School of the web site, and through customer support services. When you purchase Hallman products you agree to follow all instructions provided and accept full responsibility for their safe and effective installation and use.
Product and price information
Hallman attempts to maintain up-to-date product, price, and service information. Should an error be found, Hallman will:
- offer alternatives to solve the misunderstanding on any affected orders that are outstanding
- correct the error as soon as possible
